A Jacobson Radical Decomposition of the Fano-Snowflake Configuration

چکیده
The Fano-Snowflake, a specific configuration associated with the smallest ring of ternions R♦ (arXiv:0803.4436 and arXiv:0806.3153), admits an interesting partitioning with respect to the Jacobson radical of R♦. The totality of 21 free cyclic submodules generated by non-unimodular vectors of the free left R♦-module R ♦ is shown to split into three disjoint sets of cardinalities 9, 9 and 3 according as the number of Jacobson radical entries in the generating vector is 2, 1 or 0, respectively. The corresponding “ternioninduced” factorization of the lines of the Fano plane sitting in the middle of the FanoSnowflake is found to differ fundamentally from the natural one, i.e., from that with respect to the Jacobson radical of the Galois field of two elements.

Amenability of groups and semigroups characterized by configuration
In 2005, A. Abdollahi and A. Rejali, studied the relations betweenparadoxical decomposition and configuration for semigroups. In thepresent paper, we introduce one other concept of amenability typeon semigroups and groups which includes amenability of semigroupsand inner-amenability of groups. We have extend the previous knownresults to semigroups and groups satisfying this concept.

Given a finite associative ring with unity, R, any free (left) cyclic submodule (FCS) generated by a unimodular (n + 1)-tuple of elements of R represents a point of the n-dimensional projective space over R. Suppose that R also features FCSs generated by (n+1)-tuples that are not unimodular: what kind of geometry can be ascribed to such FCSs? Here, we (partially) answer this question for n = 2 ...
متن کاملSink Location Service Based on Fano Plane in Wireless Sensor Networks
Sink location is considered as a basic service in geographic routing in wireless sensor networks. Obtaining the location of sink node by source node using an efficient method with low complexity has always been a challenging issue in research. In this paper, a sink location algorithm based on Fano plane is proposed. The research challenge is how to ensure the intersection of two SLQ (Location Q...

The concept of configuration of groups which is defined in terms of finite partitions and finite strings of elements of the group is presented by Rosenblatt and Willis. To each set of configurations, a finite system of equations known as configuration equations, is associated. Rosenblatt and Willis proved that a discrete group G is amenable if and only if every possible instance of its configur...
متن کاملON COMMUTATIVE GELFAND RINGS
A ring is called a Gelfand ring (pm ring ) if each prime ideal is contained in a unique maximal ideal. For a Gelfand ring R with Jacobson radical zero, we show that the following are equivalent: (1) R is Artinian; (2) R is Noetherian; (3) R has a finite Goldie dimension; (4) Every maximal ideal is generated by an idempotent; (5) Max (R) is finite. We also give the following resu1ts:an ideal...
